RCR in partnership with Detroit EV attended the 2008 Power of DC with an Electric SL-R, called an EL-R. The EL-R was used as the camera car by the Travel channel while covering the event.

RCR had another huge year at the 2008 Calisle event. The complete driveable black SL-C was the hit we expected it would be...great comments from the crowd and some good questions and ideas for what future builders want to do with their cars once they have them. The SL-C we displayed at Carlisle was powered by a Chev LS7, Ricardo 6 speed transaxle & massive 295 & 345 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires.

We also had an SL-R roller on display with F1 body kit in RCR colors: yellow & black. The retro styled Grandprix nose for the SL-R was also at Carlisle. RCR also had a nice line up of replica vehicles as well thanks to the 3 x RCR-40 on display. Thanks to Ron & Mark for bringing along their RCR-40 for display. Also a big thanks to the entire RCR team for making our 2008 Carlisle year bigger and better than ever.
